Case Study: Prosper Africa Trade and Investment

CULTIVA, as a subcontractor to DAI, was engaged to support the Prosper Africa initiative, focusing on enhancing trade and investment opportunities between African nations and the United States.

The initiative faced challenges in mobilizing investments and fostering trade partnerships due to limited on-the-ground engagement and outreach in target markets. CULTIVA’s role was to provide strategic support to streamline the process of identifying and securing trade opportunities.

CULTIVA’s trade facilitation experts provided comprehensive market analysis, stakeholder engagement strategies, and on-the-ground support to strengthen trade linkages through listening sessions. The team conducted various workshops and listening sessions to connect U.S. businesses with African partners, aligning with the broader goals of Prosper Africa. CULTIVA’s deep expertise in international trade enabled the initiative to accelerate its impact.

The project facilitated the U.S. Government to close 2,498 deals across 49 countries for a total estimated value of $120.3 billion. CULTIVA’s efforts significantly enhanced the initiative’s ability to drive economic growth and foster cross-border collaboration.
